As mobile gamers there's a good chunk of us that absolutely love puzzlers and platformers, and Max & the Magic Marker is a little bit of both.

In Max & the Magic Marker, the magic mechanic is the ability to draw on-screen and have it come to life in the game. We've seen it before in games like Pengy Has a Dream, but this time around it's about drawing pathways and things to help you over obstacles.

Originally released back in 2011 with Press Play, this remastered edition by Flashbulb Games is very much true to form. The only major difference is its updated UI, newer iOS support, and optimised performance.

Excited? There's practically no time to wait as the game launches on iPhone and iPad tomorrow for £2.99/£2.99.

It feels like only earlier this week we were talking about a new Pokemon title coming to mobile devices… oh, wait. It was.

Well, if you can't wait for DeNa's next Nintendo outing, which doesn't even have a tentative title, then maybe instead look toward today's The Pokemon Company announcement: Pokemon Rumble Rush. It's from Ambrella, and is a refined version of Pokeland, which was announced two years ago.
If you're a real pokefan then you'll want to know how to grab Detective Pikachu in Pokemon Go. We've got a guide for that.
A continuation of the Pokemon Rumble series was somewhat unexpected. They're button-bashing brawlers, which certainly fits the tapping habits that many of us have developed over the years, but the Rumble spin-offs never truly felt like they stood well on their own. Still, a fourth entry may well break the mould.

So, here's the low-down. It's actually dangerously close to release as it stands, with both iOS and Android listings flagged as coming soon. There is, as ever, an exception however. It's currently live for the the Australian region, so if you're over that way then you can dig in right now.

Here's the low-down on the brawler from its Google Play page:

"• Enjoy fast-paced gameplay on the goIt's easy to control your Pokémon with one hand. Clear stages by controlling your Pokémon as it moves forward. If you see enemy Pokémon, you can attack by just tapping the screen. Tap to engage in exciting gameplay action!

• The islands and seas explored during your adventures change every two weeksYou may find unfamiliar and stronger Pokémon on new islands. So, journey through various islands and seas and collect more and more Pokémon!

• Upgrade Pokémon of your choiceYou'll sometimes receive ore when you clear a stage. Refine ore to get power gears that you can use to make your Pokémon stronger. You may even be able to refine ore into a summon gear that calls forth a Pokémon to use a powerful move. Use power gears and summon gears to help your favorite Pokémon do well!

• Test your strength using the Pokémon you've collectedOccasionally, you can earn rewards by working your way through the Super Boss Rush. You'll need many different types of strong Pokémon to win each Super Boss Rush. Harness the power of the Pokémon you've collected from various islands and seas to defeat the powerful Super Bosses.

• Devices compatible with Pokémon Rumble RushPokémon Rumble Rush is compatible with the following environments:Android 4.4 or higher, Snapdragon 410 or higherPlease be aware though that Pokémon Rumble Rush may not function on some devices."
Interested in finding out more about upcoming games? "It seems Providential," she told Anne in confidence. "I'm sorry for Matilda Clow, but since she had to break her leg it couldn't have happened at a better time. Leslie will be here while Owen Ford is in Four Winds, and those old cats up at the Glen won't get the chance to meow, as they would if she was living over there alone and Owen going to see her. They are doing enough of it as it is, because she doesn't put on mourning. I said to one of them, `If you mean she should put on mourning for George Moore, it seems to me more like his resurrection than his funeral; and if it's Dick you mean, I confess _I_ can't see the propriety of going into weeds for a man who died thirteen years ago and good riddance then!' And when old Louisa Baldwin remarked to me that she thought it very strange that Leslie should never have suspected it wasn't her own husband _I_ said, `YOU never suspected it wasn't Dick Moore, and you were next-door neighbor to him all his life, and by nature you're ten times as suspicious as Leslie.' But you can't stop some people's tongues, Anne, dearie, and I'm real thankful Leslie will be under your roof while Owen is courting her."

Siralim 2 is the expanded sequel to the 2014 monster-collecting RPG, and it's slated for iOS, Android, and Vita, as well as PC and PS4.

Siralim 2 places you in randomly-generated dungeon biomes teeming with dangerous creatures and bosses, from parched desert wastes to dense jungles. You'll brave these lands with a team of trained monsters, each with unique attributes and skill synergies.

The game will feature over 500 monsters to collect and bring into turn-based battles. You can even train offspring that inherit stats from their parents, so there will be a vast array of party builds and strategies at your disposal.

Siralim 2 is expected to release first on Steam, then come next to iOS and Android devices, and then finally to PS Vita and PS4. You can find the first game on the App Store, Google Play, Steam, and Playstation Store.

It looks like Sega's hugely popular match-three RPG Puyo Puyo Quest is coming to the west, but - like the first Puyo Puyo game - it has been given a complete makeover for audiences outside of Japan.

The game is now called Cranky Food Friends - a Delicious Drop & Match RPG. The Puyo slimes and anime heroes are gone, and in their place you'll find various items of food with cartoon faces.

There's a steak that wants to murder you. A bowl of cereal that has eyes for some reason. A sentient pasta octopus, with a screaming mouth on each meatball. It is truly terrifying.

As we said, this isn't the first time that SEGA deemed Puyo Puyo too outrageous for our narrow western sensibilities. The first PP game to make it out of Japan was rebranded as Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine.

No word on when Cranky Food Friends will actually be out, but it's currently available in soft launch in regions such as Canada. PP Quest apparently makes Sega around $4 million a month.
NeoGAF

He went to Jupiter, and besought him to give him horns. Jupiter, vexed at his request because he was not satisfied with his size and strength of body, and desired yet more, not only refused to give him horns, but even deprived him of a portion of his ears.
