Hot on the announcement of its March 28th release date, ADR1FT has received a brand new trailer. This one of those trailers that features plenty of quote from the press, taken from recent previews. The entire trailer is slow paced but showcases both the beauty and danger in space that seems like a match made in heaven to showcase VR.It's also a game that doesn't seem to feature a lot of violence of quick actions and as such shouldn't make you sick.Looking for more gameplay? Check out nine minutes of it here.
If hexagonal battlefields send you in a tizzy then you'll want to sit down and fan yourself as I show you Tales of a Viking: Episode One.It's described as a "small-scale turn-based strategy game with RPG elements." And, yes, you play as a little viking. In fact, you control a party of three, fighting back foes and stealing loot from chests. Levels are randomly generated so you'll get a new challenge each time. There are also boss fights mixed in with the regular levels and it's said you'll need to figure out a proper team-based strategy to beat those.Tales of a Viking seems to be the kind of game that's ample for playing in short bursts. You could have a go, change the baby's nappy, and then sit back down for another battle. Lovely. If you want to check it out it's available for 79p / 99c on the App Store, for free on Google Play, and £1.19 on the Windows Phone store.
