1、A DOG, crossing a bridge over a stream with a piece of flesh in his mouth, saw his own shadow in the water and took it for that of another Dog, with a piece of meat double his own in size. He immediately let go of his own, and fiercely attacked the other Dog to get his larger piece from him. He thus lost both: that which he grasped at in the water, because it was a shadow; and his own, because the stream swept it away.

3、
Bart Bonte is a well-known developer in the puzzle space on mobile. He's created the 'colour' series which includes yellow, red, green, black and blue alongside What's in the box? Now, he's returned with a word puzzler called Words for a bird that's available now for iOS and Android.

It's a fairly short experience, with only 15 levels where players will have to work out the next word in a sentence. It's telling the story about a little bird in a tree so all of the letters you have to unscramble will be represented by leaves. Not all of the letters will be required either to form the word to make things a little more tricky.
here's my new game: Words for a birda mobile free little word puzzle game for you, made during lockdown, enjoy Android: https://t.co/lYM091eb3WiOS: https://t.co/pXwyWMnnHi pic.twitter.com/6dw4RrFLdF— Bart Bonte (@bartbonte) June 4, 2020There will also be a white box in the middle of the screen that has some letters in it. The way they are positioned will act as a clue to help you find the word you're on the hunt for. If you get too stuck there is a light bulb in the top right corner that you can tap to get hints.

And that's pretty much all there is to it. The game started out life as a browser game but Bonte starting work on this version of the game during the lockdown. The story, puzzles and music are all new compared to the browser version that he'd made previously.

Words for a Bird is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with a single in-app purchase for $1.99 that will remove the ads before hints.
On the hunt for more top-tier puzzle games? Well, you're in luck! 2、
It's been a couple of months since we chatted about Slothwerks' upcoming card game, Meteorfall, and it looks like they're in need of beta testers.
Looking for iOS/Android feedback on Meteorfall! Should have build early next week. DM or email if interested: superpeon1 at gmail dot com pic.twitter.com/cWG7I9b7Ru— Slothwerks (@slothwerks) September 21, 2017 Well, it doesn't look like they need beta testers - they DO need beta testers judging by a Tweet they sent out yesterday. Why should you care? If you like card games and really dig games like Card Crawl chances are you'll be a bit fond of this one.

Meteorfall is a deck-building roguelike inspired by Peter Whalen's Dream Quest. After picking your character you'll work your way through the game, encountering different shop, characters, monsters, and so on. Rather than picking the very best cards, however, you'll have to choose what ones mesh together well.

To take part in the beta, either DM Slothwerks on Twitter or shoot them an email at superpeon1(at)gmail(dot)com. This is open for both iOS and Android users.
